Base Maintenance for the Air Force

MES provides base maintenance services to the 37th Training Wing at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in San Antonio, TX. We maintain historical exhibits, associated support equipment, training equipment and training aids, to include obstacle courses, static vehicles, ranges, and training-related equipment. MES staff also repairs, modifies, and rebuilds selected items. MES is responsible for maintaining historical aircraft and artifacts located in the two museums and the reception center at the Lackland AFB.

Distance Learning Services for the National Guard

The Distance Learning (DL) Team develops policy and implements the process to create the environment necessary for military training in the future.  The team coordinates courseware development and collaboration with the other armed services.  Classroom fielding is closely monitored by the Team to ensure maximum effective utilization. Conferences are conducted to provide opportunity for active participation in the DL process by members of the military and civilian communities.

JANUS Program Support for DARPA

MES is under contract to demonstrate the manner in which the Vaulted States Space Approach and Evolutionary Programmers can be coupled together and used to improve training and making the JANUS OPFOR intelligently interactive at suitable level of intelligence.

Engineering Research/Analysis for Naval Surface Warfare Center

MES has provided acquisition system management support by coordinating initiatives for application of emerging technologies, software reuse, distance learning, and distributed training.

Support Services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)

MES is under contract to provide analysis in which the overall threat outlook and general need for military force can be expressed across tie frames, this being updated as new knowledge is gained and as a function of the developing situation.
