Systems Integration

Global Positioning System (GPS)

MES has delivered 15 Global Positioning System (GPS) Fiber Optic Antenna Link (FOAL) Subsystems for Navy Ships, to NCCOSC, NRAD. These systems convey Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite signals from dual shipboard antennas on the masthead(s) to receivers located within the ship’s hull, where the processed GPS data will be integrated into the Navigation Sensor Interface (NAVSSI) System (AN/SSN-6(V)2).

M1A1 Abrams ICOFT

MES completed functional testing, system testing, module tests, code inspections and revising and validating documentation of source code and programmers manuals for the M1A1 Abrams ICOFT, as a subcontractor for the U.S. Army contract.
